Constipation is a common gastrointestinal ailment that affects everyone at least once during their lifetime. It is a condition characterized by incomplete excretion of the intestine or passage of hard and dry feces. A person is deemed to be constipated if he/she is having less than three bowel movements per week. Today, it has now become a common health problem due many factors ranging from wrong eating habits, drug (diuretics) side effects, poor intake of water and high-fiber foods, etc.
I thought that when I got diagnosed with hypertension, I couldn't enjoy life as I used to anymore.
Gladly, my wife found a fun way for me to still enjoy every meal, while also minding my blood pressure. We are now getting more creative with the food we prepare. Healthy does not always mean boring. There are more hypertensive-friendly food that we can still enjoy.
